Our Cooking Courses: HANDS ON!

Living for a week in a real Tuscan home, meeting with local people, touring the most beautiful art sites, enjoying the Tuscan rolling hills, visiting wine and food producers, picking herbs in the garden, shopping at the local open markets, learning how to cook the great Traditional Family Italian Mediterranean recipes with your hands-on.

A unique culinary adventure that begins in a 16th-century villa’s fully equipped kitchen with large marble working stations, and passing through the organic garden and the colourful open markets ends up on your dish.

Maximum eight people per week, to better enjoy each other's company and to get all the attention from your hosts.

From antipasti to dessert, in each class we experience the traditional way to the table. Nothing too complicated: just tasty! Something to eat everyday, not only on special occasions. Something to surprise your friends with your Italian cooking skills.

Cooking is a way to find your roots, to develop your positive thought, to share it with others and nourish your body and soul.

The main reason for being here is to learn how to be confident in the kitchen and enjoy expressing your creativity.

TIDBITS & TIPS - fOOD AND ART IN THE HEART OF TUSCANY: Mediterranean and Vegetarian Kitchen with Art & Fun

6 nights - 7 days stay for a deep unique all inclusive Tuscan experience. A different excursion every day to meet the beauty of our art:  medieval walled towns, art cities, and small-undiscovered villages. Places where each brick tells you a story from the past. A full week to experience local culture visiting open markets, food and art workshops and wine producers.

On the 4 hands-on cooking classes, following seasonal products, we prepare our food, and if it's fall time we cannot miss the truffle hunting experience: a good excuse to lean how to make handmade tagliatelle for the truffle sauce.

Summer celebrates the apotheosis of Mediterranean cooking: a feast of colours, a dance of tastes!

Generations of women with their peasant recipes: a great patrimony to be connected with.
Beginners or expert cooks can all find inspiration. Immerse yourself: restore your senses, nourish you soul!

 
OLIVE OIL: THE TUSCAN GOLD - Mediterranean and Vegetarian Kitchen with Olive picking , Art & Fun

6 nights - 7 days all inclusive stay designed for people who like to experience Tuscany from within it. At Tasty Tuscany we produce our organic extra virgin olive oil and the olive harvest is for our guests a great chance to be part of one of the most joyful experience of country life in Tuscany.

Combined with the 3 cooking classes on Traditional Family kitchen, we give here the chance for a unique experience: picking olives and participating to the process of olive pressing, and extra virgin olive oil making. An olive oil tasting class, under the guidance of an expert, is included into the weekly schedule.

This course is available just during the first two weeks of November. Cooking on this time of the year is based on truffles, mushrooms, pumpkin, stew, and soups. It's winter cooking....and fresh made extra virgin olive oil will be the king in the kitchen.

Daily excursions to art cities, medieval towns, open markets, food and wine producers complete this authentic experience on real Tuscan life and cooking.
